In today’s society we often hear the word leadership being referenced, but do we truly understand its meaning and how crucial it is to success in business?  In my experience as a military leader, martial arts instructor, parent, business owner, mentor, and coach, I know and appreciate the value of strong leadership and the cost of not having a good leadership structure.

Think about this, when you were a kid did you play “follow the follower” or “follow the leader”? In business, the leader should be a trained center of influence for their staff. The leader sets the tone, attitude, and style of relationships within the business. When leaders fail to lead effectively, the business suffers with lost profit, low morale, high turnover, and other costs.
